George Pacacha
Managing Owner
George is the senior estimator of A.G.V Electrical Estimating Services. As a Founding managing member of A.G.V. Electrical Estimating LLC, he oversees all daily operations.
George entered the electrical trade in 1986 completing a 3 year vocational training in high school. After graduation, he was accepted into IBEW Local Union #3 (Formerly IBEW 501). During and after his apprenticeship he worked on some of the largest construction projects in New York and Connecticut. He also worked for several large companies in the capacity of foreman, general foreman, project manager, estimator and senior estimator. In the early 2000’s he opened his own electrical contracting company which grew from 2 employees to over 20 employees. During that time he handled all aspects of running a commercial electrical Contracting business with his main focus on estimating Public/Prevailing wage work and waste water treatment facilities.
George holds several electrical licenses in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. He manages all facets of the estimating process including specification review, full takeoff, bid recapitulation, scope review, bid submission and post bid review. He also works with new clients and existing clients to help them calculate their overhead. He often assists clients with AIA documents and contract documents. He works daily with the major softwares, including EBM, Conest, and Accubid and handles all database customization.
He is married and has two children. When he is not estimating, his personal interests are running, tennis, and spending time with his wife and family.
Kurt Davis
Estimator
Kurt Davis has been with the AGV estimating team since 2022. He has more than 50 years of experience in the electrical industry, ranging from field installation and site supervision to project management and lead estimating.
For the first half of his distinguished career, Kurt spent more than 30 years with an electric company, growing in responsibility from foreman, site supervisor to president and owner. Since then, Kurt has worked at a variety of electric companies in primarily Texas, Nevada and Louisiana focused on estimating and project management. His estimating experience spans from residential and commercial projects, to large scale high-rise condos and casinos. He’s utilized his experience and depth of knowledge to onboard and train new estimators throughout his career.
A licensed journeyman electrician, Kurt has completed numerous National Electric Code classes and is trained in McCormick, Accubid, Conest, EBM, Plan swift, and Timberline estimating software.
Kurt is a proud father and grandfather, enjoys hunting and fishing and spending time with his beloved dog, Bella.
Jason Rooney
Estimator
Jason Rooney joined the AGV estimating team in November 2024, with an extensive background in the construction industry that began as an in-field electrician throughout his high school and college career. He has experience in project and construction management, prior to beginning his estimating career in 2015.
Jason is experienced in preparing, evaluating and submitting bids for private, commercial and government electrical projects. He is fully trained in Accubid estimating, proficient in Planswift on-screen takeoff and is expanding his training in Bluebeam, Conest, EBM and McCormick estimating software. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Southeastern Louisiana University.
A lifelong resident of Louisiana, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, completing at home renovation projects and traveling.
Neil Olson
Estimator
Neil is a Navy veteran who began his electrical career as an apprentice electrician in 1994. After completing a four-year apprenticeship, he became a journeyman electrician and later earned his Master Electrician certification. With years of hands-on experience, he successfully owned and operated his own electrical business. Now, Neil applies his expertise as an electrical estimator, bringing precision and insight in project planning and cost analysis.
